Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 4×10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM | 2-3 call shifts per month expected
Key Responsibilities- Perform circulating duties in the operating room across a range of surgical procedures
- Support orthopedic and spine surgical cases with a high level of proficiency
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and scrub technicians to ensure safe and efficient surgical workflow
- Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation and patient records
- Adhere to sterile field protocols and facility-specific safety standards
Required Qualifications- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum 2 years of operating room experience as a circulator
- Strong proficiency in orthopedic and spine surgical cases
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a high-volume surgical environment
- Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties beyond orthopedics and spine
