Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring safe and effective delivery of direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate throughout the perioperative process
  • Serve as primary coordinator across all disciplines to facilitate well-coordinated patient care
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Follow Standard Precautions and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma or compact eligibility
  • Operating Room specialty experience
  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills and exercise decisive judgment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior experience in a perioperative or surgical services setting
  • Familiarity with scrubbing and/or circulating roles within the OR
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary care teams
