# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Operating Room – Texas

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Austin, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Saturday through Monday, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM; 13-week contract; no call required; Weekend Charge Nurse role

Highlights:

• Work in a state-of-the-art 22-room operating suite with advanced surgical technology including robotics
• Serve as Weekend Charge Nurse in a collaborative, team-focused environment
• Diverse surgical case mix including cardiac, vascular, neuro, spine, oncology, orthopedics, plastics, urology, and GYN procedures
• EMR system: Meditech
• 1:1 patient ratios with one surgical team in-house at all times
• Supportive unit culture with low turnover and strong track record of transitioning contract staff to permanent positions

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Texas or compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required
• Experience across multiple service lines preferred: ortho, neuro, general, and robotic surgery
• Neuro/spine experience strongly preferred
• Cardiac experience required for cardiac service line assignments
• Leadership or charge nurse experience preferred
