Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans.

Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques. Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans. Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and members of the operating team. Prepares the operating room for the patient and the surgical procedure. Assembles equipment and supplies, ensures equipment is functional, and supplies/implants are available. On-call duty is required for 4 x 12-hour shifts in an 8-week schedule period.
