The unit consists of 7 Operating Room Suites. There are a total of 30 staff members, including Surgical Technologists, RNs, Aides, and leadership. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:1. The equipment used varies based on specialty. Electronic Medical Record (EMR) utilized is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include Robotics in gynecology, urology, and general surgery. Additional procedures include cystoscopy, breast surgery, knee scopes, and total joint replacements. Candidates must demonstrate a team player mentality and flexibility in their approach. Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
