Description:
Licensed for 457 beds.
Level 3 Trauma center.
Stroke Center of Excellence.
Bariatric Center of Excellence.
Chest Pain Center.
Department features 19 OR suites, with 17 rooms blocked.
Average of 50 cases per day.
Patient types and common diagnoses include trauma, ortho trauma, ortho total joints, spine surgery, hearts, vascular, GYN, GYN-Oncology, robotics, general surgery, HPB, bariatrics, urology, ENT, eyes, pain, and plastics.
Experience required to circulate in the above surgical specialties.
Orientation includes departmental training.
Weekend rotation every 4th weekend.
Call coverage required, averaging 6 call shifts per 6-week schedule with a 45-minute response time.
Travelers will work 75% of holidays.
Scheduled shifts typically include 7a-7p, 9a-9p, or 11a-11p, based on needs.

Experience with laparoscopic and open belly cases is helpful.
Proficiency in scrubbing and charge RN experience preferred.
