Description:
Our facility is licensed for 457 beds and is recognized as a Level 3 Trauma Center and a Stroke Center of Excellence.
We offer a Bariatric Center of Excellence and a Chest Pain Center.
The Operating Room consists of 19 suites with 17 rooms blocked.
We conduct approximately 50 cases per day covering various surgical specialties including Trauma, Orthopedic Trauma, Orthopedic Total Joints, Spine, Cardiovascular, Vascular, GYN, GYN-Oncology, Robotics, General Surgery, HPB, Bariatrics, Urology, ENT, Eyes, Pain management, and Plastics.
Candidates must have experience circulating in the specified surgical cases.
Charge RN experience and scrubbing proficiency are required for night shift contracts.
Familiarity with laparoscopic and open belly cases, orthopedics, cysto, vascular, and robotics is a plus.
Candidates should be flexible, self-driven, and motivated team players.
They should be prepared to respond to case requests during their shifts.
Support within the department includes Clinical Supervisors, Charge Nurses, Educators, and Unit Secretaries.
The department utilizes EMR software and standard operating room equipment.
Weekend coverage may include scheduled shifts or call, with an average of 6 call shifts per 6-week schedule.
Travelers should be prepared to work 75% of holidays.
Shift times may vary based on departmental needs.
