Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a high-volume ground-floor surgical unit operating 24/7, with case volumes ranging from 28-55 cases per day
• Support a broad range of service lines including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Urology, General Surgery, and Thoracic Surgery
• Assist with robotic-assisted surgical procedures utilizing Xi robotic systems across applicable service lines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes throughout the perioperative process
• Adhere to holiday coverage expectations, including working 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Operating Room / Surgical nursing
• Required: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Required: AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple surgical service lines, particularly Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, or Thoracic Surgery
• Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical platforms
• Ability to adapt to varying case volumes and fast-paced surgical environments
