Description:
The Operating Room Registered Nurse will work 3x12-hour shifts during the day.
On-call shifts are required, up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks.
Up to one working weekend shift is required every 4 weeks.
The traveler will be required to work at least one holiday period.
Experience in scrub roles is strongly preferred.
The position will require floating within scope to meet facility needs.
The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists.
Registered Nurses are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures.
This is a busy and dynamic nurse-driven department.
The facility is a level-one trauma center with 21 operating rooms.
All surgical specialties are covered, including Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedic, and Robotics.
Travelers may be required to participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season.
Candidates with a pending state license may still be considered.
