Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring care is delivered in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate throughout the surgical episode
Serve as a primary coordinator across all disciplines to facilitate well-coordinated patient care
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders accurately and in a timely manner
Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team
Follow Standard Precautions and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma or compact eligibility
Experience in an Operating Room or surgical circulator role
Ability to apply critical thinking skills and exercise decisive judgment with minimal supervision
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress surgical environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience as a circulating nurse in an acute care or surgical setting
Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties and procedures
Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
