Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Days | 4×10-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 5:15 PM) with call rotation | Expected 40 hours/week
Key Responsibilities- Provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room setting
- Support a range of surgical procedures including ophthalmology, joint replacement, and urology cases
- Deliver clinically competent nursing care to the general surgical population with minimal supervision
- Participate in on-call rotation as required by the department
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes throughout the perioperative process
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- American Heart Association BLS (BCLS) certification required
- American Heart Association ACLS certification required
- Annual NIHSS certification required
- Operating room clinical experience
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
- Strength in ophthalmology surgeries, joint replacement, and/or urology procedures
- Prior experience in an acute care surgical services environment
