Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care within the Operating Room setting, applying evidence-based nursing practice and strong critical thinking skills
  • Float among various surgical specialties as needed to support departmental coverage
  • Participate in a self-assigned call rotation, with an expected 24-40 hours of call per 4-week scheduling period
  • Respond to emergencies in a decisive, composed, and respectful manner within a fast-paced environment
  • Utilize Epic EMR to document and manage clinical care efficiently
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while maintaining strong customer service and interpersonal standards
Required Qualifications
  • Active RN license - Single State or Multi-State Compact
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or BLS Instructor) required upon hire
  • Graduation from an accredited/approved school of nursing with requisite clinical hours
  • 3-5 years of Operating Room experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language; basic computer proficiency required
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred (Associate's or Diploma accepted)
  • Experience across multiple surgical specialties
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize in high-acuity environments
