Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)

Contract | Travel | Days | Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care across a range of surgical specialties including GYN, General Robotics, Trauma, Urology, Colorectal, Neuro, and Bariatrics
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes throughout the operative process
- Fulfill on-call requirements, which typically include end-of-shift coverage until 22:00 or overnight 22:00–6:00 on weekdays; weekend call is structured in 12-hour shifts
- Document patient care accurately using the facility's electronic medical records system (Cerner)
- Adhere to facility protocols, infection control standards, and surgical safety guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Tennessee
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR platform
- Prior travel nursing experience in a fast-paced surgical environment
