Description:
The OR consists of RNs, Certified Surgical Technologists, OR Aides, and Schedulers.
There are 7 OR rooms available for procedures.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:1.
Typical equipment includes video towers, scopes, robotic systems, Bovie units, and suction systems.
Documentation is completed using a specified electronic system.
Scheduling requires availability for 10-hour shifts with weekend call rotations.
Approximately six shifts per month will include weekend work.
Floating within Surgical Services is expected.
Advanced skills related to robotic procedures are a plus.
Unit-specific policies and guidelines must be adhered to.
The required uniform consists of hospital-laundered scrubs.
