Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical Oncology ICU position requiring ICU experience with central lines, arterial lines, and vasopressor titration.

Details

  • Mixed ICU/floor level oncology unit within a hospital setting
  • Adult medical oncology ICU caring for bone marrow transplant, hematologic, and solid tumor malignancy patients
  • Patient population includes adult oncology bone marrow transplant cases
  • Day shift 12-hour schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

  • Active RN license (MD or Compact) required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • ICU experience required, including central line and arterial line management
  • Experience with vasopressor titration required
  • Experience managing patients with cardiac monitoring required
  • Oncology, CRRT, and Critical Care Certification experience preferred
  • Experience with Alaris pumps, trauma course completion, EPIC, and ACLS preferred
  • Comparable facility size experience required (500+ bed facility experience)

Additional Information

  • Provide critical care nursing within a mixed ICU/floor oncology environment
  • Orientation sessions held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
  • Holiday coverage required as needed by the unit
  • Local candidates accepted at the same rate
