    Contract | 12-Hour Day Shifts | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | Every Other Weekend Rotation | 26–51 Week Contract (longer contracts preferred)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care on a 21-bed Hematology and Oncology unit, including diagnosis and treatment of hematological and oncological conditions
    • Administer and monitor inpatient chemotherapy infusions, adhering to staffing ratios of 1:4 with active chemo infusing
    • Support palliative care, inpatient hospice, and end-of-life care for patients with progressive diagnoses
    • Care for specialized medical patients with tracheostomies and provide symptom management and supportive care
    • Float as needed to other post-surgical and medical-surgical inpatient floors
    • Document accurately using the Epic charting system (test-out option available)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Kansas or Multistate RN license required; no disciplinary actions or license hits permitted, no exceptions
    • AHA BLS certification required at time of submission
    • ADN or BSN degree in Nursing
    • Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
    • No first-time travelers; prior travel nursing experience required
    • Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate (no radius rule)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in oncology and/or hematology nursing
    • Chemotherapy Certification preferred
    • Familiarity with Epic EMR
    • Flexibility with start dates and contract length (26–51 weeks preferred)
