Key Responsibilities
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer and manage drip therapies including Heparin, PCA, and epidural infusions; administer chemotherapy if certified.
- Provide high-acuity nursing care to Med Surg and Oncology patient populations.
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR.
- Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg and/or Oncology nursing experience required.
- Active Iowa RN license required.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS (AHA) certification required.
- NIHSS certification required (may be obtained during onboarding).
- Valid driver's license required; taxable home address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
- High-acuity care experience preferred.
- Chemotherapy administration certification preferred.
