Key Responsibilities
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide direct nursing care to Med Surg and/or Oncology patients in a high-acuity inpatient setting.
- Administer drips including Heparin, PCA, and epidural; administer chemotherapy if certified.
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system to document and manage patient care.
- Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg and/or Oncology nursing experience required.
- Active Iowa RN license required.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS (AHA) certification required.
- NIHSS certification required (may be obtained during onboarding).
- Valid driver's license required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
- High-acuity care experience preferred.
- Chemotherapy certification preferred.
