Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in an outpatient infusion setting, administering IV antibiotics, antifungals, steroids, blood products, IVIG, iron infusions, and specialty biologic medications. Place and maintain Peripherally Inserted Central Venous Catheters (PICC lines) and manage central venous access devices, ports, fistulas, and catheters.

Administer chemotherapy and specialty oncology medications in accordance with established protocols and certifications
Perform therapeutic phlebotomies and provide hydration therapy, IV/IM vitamins, and care of intrathecal or implanted infusion pumps
Educate patients on self-administration of medications including biologics and anticoagulants
Document all patient care activities accurately using the EPIC electronic health records system
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of New York
Minimum 2 years of current experience in outpatient oncology and infusion nursing
Demonstrated experience with peripheral IV insertion and port, fistula, and catheter access – required
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system – required
Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications – required
Completed de-escalation training (Welle, CPI, or PMCS approved programs) – required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Experience / Skills
IV Certification – highly preferred
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – preferred
Previous travel nursing experience – preferred
