Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (0700–1930) | 3×12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an 18-bed Bone Marrow Transplant unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 2:1 to 3:1
- Administer chemotherapy and oncology-related treatments in accordance with established protocols
- Monitor and assess BMT patients throughout the shift, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float to a Medical-Surgical floor on an as-needed basis when unit census requires
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in oncology nursing and chemotherapy administration
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) setting
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) chemotherapy certification
