    Registered Nurse – Oncology / PCU

    Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care to adult oncology and trauma PCU patients on an 18-bed unit with a 1:4–1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
    • Titrate and manage drips including chemotherapy, Heparin, Cardizem, and Protonix; manage Insulin and Cardizem titration as needed
    • Operate and monitor high-flow respiratory equipment and manage patients requiring advanced respiratory support
    • Conduct hourly rounding and participate in bedside shift report as part of the unit's patient experience standards
    • Float to other Med/Surg and PCU units at the same level of care as needed to meet unit staffing needs
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including Nursing Assistants, Charge Nurse, PT/OT, RN Case Manager, Social Worker, Educator, and Dietitian
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license in good standing
    • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • Proficiency with Epic EMR and Alaris IV pumps
    • Ability to pass a unit-specific open-book skills exam with a minimum score of 90% during orientation
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Oncology nursing experience preferred; strong PCU experience without oncology background will be considered
    • ONS/ONCC certification preferred
    • Chemotherapy administration certification preferred
