    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology / PCU

    Location

    Omaha, NE

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a mixed PCU, Oncology, and Med/Surg unit serving an adult patient population
    • Manage and titrate drips including heparin, cardizem, and chemotherapy agents as indicated
    • Monitor and respond to hemodynamic parameters including CVP, A-line, Swan, and EV-1000 readings
    • Perform hourly rounding and maintain patient safety standards in accordance with unit protocols
    • Float to same-level-of-care units (Med/Surg and PCU) as needed
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case management, social work, dietary, and education staff
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license in good standing
    • Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Oncology and/or PCU settings
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
    • ONS/ONCC certification required
    • Proficiency with EPIC EMR and Alaris IV pumps
    • Ability to pass a unit-specific open-book skills exam with a score of 90% or higher during orientation
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Chemotherapy certification (preferred but not required)
    • Prior experience with ventilator management and advanced hemodynamic monitoring (ICP, Swan, EV-1000)
    • Experience with first-time travel nursing assignments is acceptable
    • Minimum 1 year of charge nurse experience preferred for charge-eligible candidates
