Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a mixed PCU, Oncology, and Med/Surg unit serving an adult patient population
Manage and titrate drips including heparin, cardizem, and chemotherapy agents as indicated
Monitor and respond to hemodynamic parameters including CVP, A-line, Swan, and EV-1000 readings
Perform hourly rounding and maintain patient safety standards in accordance with unit protocols
Float to same-level-of-care units (Med/Surg and PCU) as needed
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case management, social work, dietary, and education staff
Required Qualifications
Active RN license in good standing
Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Oncology and/or PCU settings
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
ONS/ONCC certification required
Proficiency with EPIC EMR and Alaris IV pumps
Ability to pass a unit-specific open-book skills exam with a score of 90% or higher during orientation
Preferred Experience / Skills
Chemotherapy certification (preferred but not required)
Prior experience with ventilator management and advanced hemodynamic monitoring (ICP, Swan, EV-1000)
Experience with first-time travel nursing assignments is acceptable
Minimum 1 year of charge nurse experience preferred for charge-eligible candidates
