Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to adult Oncology and Trauma PCU patients on an 18-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4–1:5
Titrate and manage drips including Chemotherapy, Heparin, Cardizem, Insulin, and Protonix
Operate and monitor high-flow respiratory equipment as needed
Conduct hourly rounding and participate in bedside shift report to support patient experience standards
Float to other Med/Surg and PCU units at the same level of care as assigned
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including Nursing Assistants, Charge Nurses, PT/OT, Case Management, Social Work, and Dietitian
Required Qualifications
Active RN license in good standing
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Proficiency with Epic EMR and Alaris IV pumps
Ability to pass a unit-specific open-book skills exam with a score of 90% or higher during orientation
Preferred Experience / Skills
Oncology nursing experience preferred; strong PCU experience without Oncology may be considered
ONS/ONCC certification preferred
Chemotherapy certification preferred
First-time travel nurses accepted
