    Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology / PCU

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care to adult Oncology and Trauma PCU patients on an 18-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4–1:5
    • Titrate and manage drips including Chemotherapy, Heparin, Cardizem, Insulin, and Protonix
    • Operate and monitor high-flow respiratory equipment as needed
    • Conduct hourly rounding and participate in bedside shift report to support patient experience standards
    • Float to other Med/Surg and PCU units at the same level of care as assigned
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including Nursing Assistants, Charge Nurses, PT/OT, Case Management, Social Work, and Dietitian
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license in good standing
    • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • Proficiency with Epic EMR and Alaris IV pumps
    • Ability to pass a unit-specific open-book skills exam with a score of 90% or higher during orientation
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Oncology nursing experience preferred; strong PCU experience without Oncology may be considered
    • ONS/ONCC certification preferred
    • Chemotherapy certification preferred
    • First-time travel nurses accepted
