    Key Responsibilities
    • Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients, documenting responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments.
    • Assists physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.
    • Obtains and monitors physiological data, observes patient manifestations, and intervenes when necessary.
    • Administers medications as prescribed and initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products.
    • Interacts with patients and families to share care plans during hospitalization and at discharge, and informs them of relevant procedures.
    • Delegates tasks to support staff and makes referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel.
    Required Qualifications
    • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
    • Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
    • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
    • Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from a board-approved program.
    • Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services with proficiency in nursing techniques.
