    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Oncology

    Location

    New Brunswick, NJ | Inpatient

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Administer and monitor chemotherapy including continuous infusion and IV push administration within a Medical/Surgical Oncology unit serving blood disorder and intermediate-care patients
    • Perform body fluid handling post-chemotherapy and manage cytotoxic spills in accordance with safety protocols
    • Recognize and manage chemotherapy-related side effects as well as oncologic emergencies including anaphylaxis and sepsis
    • Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC
    • Float within skillset as needed, including to the connected main campus
    • Provide on-call or work coverage for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's) based on unit need
    Required Qualifications
    • Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
    • BLS certification required
    • ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Card required
    • Minimum 1 year of Oncology experience with chemotherapy administration
    • EPIC experience required
    • Local candidates are welcome and accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • ACLS certification preferred
    • Experience in Medical/Surgical Oncology, blood disorders, or intermediate-care settings
    • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
