Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days | 10-Week Assignment | Monday–Friday, varying hours (approx. 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to oncology and hematology patients in an outpatient exam room setting supporting up to 4 providers
- Perform patient rooming duties including intake, vital signs, and documentation
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary oncology care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with facility protocols
- Adhere to all dress code requirements; navy blue scrubs required
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- Active RN State License (Indiana or compact equivalent)
- BLS Certification required
- Minimum 3 years of oncology nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with oncology and hematology patient populations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced outpatient environment
- Comfort supporting multiple providers simultaneously in an exam room setting
