Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:00 | Weekdays and Every Other Weekend
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct inpatient nursing care on a Med-Surg or Oncology unit
- Manage and monitor patient conditions with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5–6
- Perform IV starts and administer medications including chemotherapy and biotherapy as applicable
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient treatment plans
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in West Virginia or a valid Compact State license (pending license accepted for submission)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Proficiency with IV starts
- Permanent address located more than 100 miles from the facility (75–100 miles considered on a case-by-case basis)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Oncology nursing experience
- ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification
- NIHSS certification
- Prior travel nursing experience
