Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Rotating Weekends | Tuesday Start
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a dedicated Oncology unit with an estimated patient ratio of 4:1 (max 5:1)
- Perform blood and electrolyte replacement daily in accordance with unit protocols
- Perform sterile dressing changes following strict infection prevention standards
- Operate and manage Baxter infusion pumps and document care using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate within a team-centered environment alongside charge nurses and patient care technicians
- Float to designated areas as needed per unit guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year of Oncology experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong understanding of sterile dressing change techniques and infection prevention protocols
- Solid knowledge of blood and electrolyte replacement process protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
- General Medical Oncology background
- Experience with ports and central lines
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
