Contract | Rotating Shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend, Every Other Holiday | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to oncology patients across rotating day and night shifts
- Monitor and assess patients in step-down and telemetry settings as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Assist with pre- and post-operative care for surgical oncology patients
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Ohio (or compact license eligibility)
- Experience in Oncology nursing
- Experience in Step-Down, Surgical, or Telemetry settings
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts, including every other weekend and every other holiday
- Current BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-acuity or academic medical environment
- Familiarity with oncology-specific treatment protocols and chemotherapy administration
- Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
