Registered Nurse – Oncology

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days, Schedule Varies (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within a radiation oncology setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for oncology patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient treatment plans
- Monitor and document patient responses to treatment and report changes in condition
- Must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Oncology nursing
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in radiation oncology or a related oncology subspecialty
- Familiarity with oncology treatment protocols and chemotherapy administration
