Key Responsibilities
Interpret and implement the plan of medical care while ensuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner
Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects
Record patients' medical information and vital signs, and maintain accurate, detailed reports and records
Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans
Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts or compact eligibility
Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and clinical decision-making related to nursing care
Experience providing direct patient care in a clinical setting
Strong documentation skills with the ability to maintain accurate medical records
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in an oncology nursing setting
Familiarity with oncology-specific treatment protocols and patient monitoring requirements
