Key Responsibilities
Interpret the plan of medical care and perform clinical assessments to ensure nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner
Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects
Record and maintain accurate patient medical information, vital signs, and detailed reports
Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts or compact eligibility
Experience providing direct patient care in an oncology setting
Ability to perform clinical decision-making regarding individualized nursing care
Strong documentation skills with ability to maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in an inpatient oncology unit
Familiarity with oncology-specific medications, chemotherapy protocols, and related side effect management
