Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an oncology unit with a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Participate in every-other-weekend rotation with no on-call requirement
- Float to other units as needed based on census and staffing demands
- Actively support nursing students and contribute to clinical education alongside the provision of direct patient care
- Complete required orientation modules, including online computer-based learning, during the designated orientation period
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with Med/Surg/Telemetry background required
- AHA BLS certification required — AHA is the only accepted form; all other certifications will not meet compliance requirements
- Must complete Relias EKG testing within 72 hours of signing; two attempts allowed — failure of both or non-completion results in automatic cancellation
- Must be available for drug test completion within 12–14 calendar days prior to start date, with availability for a potential second lab visit if needed
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred
