RN – Oncology (Float Traveler)

Contract | 3x12 Day/Night Rotating Shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Float across multiple oncology units including Medical Oncology, Research Oncology, Palliative Care, Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), and general Oncology floors
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to oncology and hematology populations
- Adapt quickly to varying unit environments, patient acuity levels, and interdisciplinary team structures
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and care teams to support individualized treatment plans
- Monitor and assess patients undergoing complex oncology treatments including chemotherapy and palliative interventions
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts (or compact license eligibility)
- Current BLS certification required
- Prior oncology nursing experience required
- Ability to float across multiple oncology and specialty units
- Flexibility to work day and night rotating shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) or Palliative Care settings
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential
- Prior travel nursing experience in an academic or large hospital setting
- Familiarity with research oncology or clinical trial patient populations
