Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care for oncology patients including those with mixed solid tumor, hematologic malignancies, and BMT diagnoses
Care for patients with primary diagnoses including leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and various solid tumor diagnoses
Administer cellular therapy products and support patients enrolled in clinical trials
Operate and monitor equipment including telemetry, PCA pumps, blood warmers, bladder scanners, and Baxter pumps
May float to other oncology units as needed
Required Qualifications
Active RN license in good standing
Experience in oncology nursing, including mixed solid tumor, hematologic malignancy, BMT, and cellular therapies
Experience caring for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and solid tumor diagnoses
Experience with cellular product administration and clinical trial patient care
Proficiency with telemetry, PCA pumps, blood warmers, bladder scanners, and Baxter pumps
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in a high-acuity inpatient oncology setting
Familiarity with BMT and cellular therapy protocols
Ability to adapt to rotating shift schedules and float to various oncology units
