Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (8:00–16:30) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within an infusion/oncology setting with a daily caseload of approximately 70 patients and a 1:4 patient ratio
- Perform and support External Beam Therapy (CBCT/kV/mV imaging) and IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy) treatments
- Administer prophylactic treatments in accordance with established protocols
- Maintain and apply Radiation Safety standards throughout all clinical activities
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
Required Qualifications
- Active WV RN license or valid Compact RN license (pending license accepted for submission)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
- Proficiency in CBCT/kV/mV imaging, External Beam Therapy, IMRT, and Radiation Safety
- Must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates residing between 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Flu vaccination required; medical exemption (documented by an allergist or physician of record) may be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ONC (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification preferred
- Prior infusion center experience
- Inpatient and/or outpatient oncology experience
