Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (4x10 Hours, 7:00–17:30) | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy, electrolytes, and blood products to oncology patients in an infusion center setting
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:6–7 in a structured infusion environment
- Collaborate with an integrated oncology urgent care team to support add-on patients and those requiring provider assessment
- Float within specialty and acuity as required
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of oncology and/or infusion nursing experience
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system
- Must reside 50 or more miles from the facility (locals under 50 miles are not accepted unless explicitly stated)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- First-time travelers accepted with strong oncology and/or infusion background
- CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version is the accepted online vendor)
- Comfort with floating within scope and acuity with no scheduling restrictions
