Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to oncology patients during overnight shifts in an acute care setting
- Administer chemotherapy and related treatments in accordance with established protocols and certifications
- Perform IV insertions and manage vascular access for patient care needs
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Chemotherapy administration certification
- Demonstrated proficiency in IV insertion
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an oncology nursing role within an acute care or hospital setting
- Familiarity with oncology-specific medications, side effect management, and patient education
