Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to oncology patients in an acute care setting
- Administer chemotherapy and other oncology-related treatments in accordance with established protocols
- Perform IV insertions and manage vascular access
- Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment, documenting findings accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient safety and positive outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Chemotherapy certification
- Demonstrated IV insertion skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an oncology or hematology/oncology nursing setting
- Familiarity with oncology-specific electronic health record systems
