Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within a high-volume outpatient radiation oncology clinic treating approximately 35-40 patients per day
• Support delivery of radiation therapy modalities including IMRT, SBRT, SRS, and TBI irradiation
• Administer and monitor chemotherapy in accordance with established protocols and Chemotherapy Certification standards
• Document patient care and clinical information using Cerner electronic health records
• Adhere to holiday coverage requirements, including 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or compact eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Radiation Oncology
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Chemotherapy Certification required
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with advanced radiation therapy techniques such as IMRT, SBRT, SRS, and TBI
• Experience in a fast-paced outpatient oncology or cancer center environment
