Hem/Onc Float Pool Staff Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Hematology/Oncology Float Pool Staff Registered Nurses to support our oncology departments across multiple locations. This role requires a flexible and adaptable nursing professional to provide high-quality patient care in various units.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients across various departments.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and assess patient conditions regularly.
Provide emotional support to patients and their families throughout their treatment journey.
Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations while providing care.
Participate in staff education and training programs as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Previous experience in oncology nursing preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Flexibility to float between different oncology units as needed.

Work Schedule

This position requires availability for 3x12 hour night shifts.
