Chemotherapy Treatment Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chemotherapy Treatment Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will work in the treatment area providing chemotherapy to adult patients in an ambulatory setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy treatments to patients safely and effectively.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after chemotherapy administration.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding chemotherapy and side effects.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to treatment.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing license is required.
• Chemotherapy certification is required at the time of application.
• Minimum of 2 years of oncology experience is required.
• Experience in an ambulatory setting is preferred.
• Flu vaccination required; medical exemptions will be considered.

Work Schedule

This position is a Monday through Friday schedule with no holidays or weekends required.

Orientation

Orientation is conducted weekly, every Monday, barring holidays.

Interview Process

Candidates will be interviewed by the Nurse Manager, and dates and times available for interviews should be provided at the time of application.

Additional Information

• All requests for time off (RTO) must be presented at the time of application.
• Travelers who have worked within the past year will not be accepted; candidates must be separated from previous employment for one year to be considered.
• Parking may cost up to $43 per day.
