Clinician will report onsite on Monday. Patient-to-nurse ratios for medical-surgical oncology are approximately 1:4-5. Weekend shifts are required every other week. Open to accommodating floating within scope to meet facility needs. Pending licenses are accepted if active before the start date. Requests for time off greater than seven days require approval. Total staffed beds at the facility are 1,567. Average daily census is 27 patients with 28 beds available. Experience with sickle cell patients is preferred, but not required. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. Oncology experience is required for this role. Candidate must not be considered local if residing within 75 miles of the facility. A reference is required for submission. Return staff policy mandates a minimum absence of two years to return as a traveler. Modules are required prior to start and annually, varying by specialty.
