Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Outpatient Infusion Center – New York

Schedule: Outpatient infusion center setting; 13-week assignment with 8-hour non-billable orientation; No call required; Overtime and holiday multipliers available at 1.25x rate

- Diverse case mix including IV antibiotics, blood product transfusions, PICC line placement, IVIG therapy, iron infusions, and specialty biologic medications
- Work with patients requiring treatment for oncology, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and other chronic conditions
- Epic EMR system utilized (experience required)
- Professional dress code: personal scrubs of any color without designs or cartoons
- Limited time-off requests accepted (up to 5 days maximum; must be noted at time of application)
Requirements:
- Active New York State Registered Nurse license
- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
- Chemotherapy certification (ONS) – Required
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) – Required
- Minimum 2 years of current outpatient oncology and infusion experience
- Peripheral IV insertion experience required
- Experience with ports, fistulas, and central venous catheters required
- IV certification highly preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- BSN preferred; previous travel experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs required
- New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required for agency partners
- Completion of verbal de-escalation training from approved provider (Welle, CPI, or PMCS)
- 14-panel drug screen completion within 24 hours of offer acceptance
- Current skills checklist, work history, and supervisory reference from within past two years
