Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Oncology

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients on the Medical Surgical Oncology unit. This position includes responsibilities related to treatment, monitoring, and support of oncology patients, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards of care.

Shift Information

Shift: 3x12 Hour (Variable Shift)
Option for Night or Day shifts

Assignments

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 60 Hours per 2 weeks
Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required
Weekend coverage may be more frequent than every other weekend, based on staffing needs

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse license required (Pending license acceptable but must complete application promptly)
Experience in chemotherapy administration is essential
Certification: BLS, ONS/ONCC required
1 year of experience preferred
First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Unit Information

This is a Medical Surgical Oncology unit specializing in comprehensive patient care for oncology cases. Registered Nurses are expected to apply critical thinking and effective communication skills in a dynamic environment.
