Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN with a specialty in Oncology for a travel assignment in Oak Lawn, IL. This role involves working within an outpatient infusion setting, providing care to adult oncology patients. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Oncology - Travel- Administer chemotherapy and other medications to oncology patients
- Provide long-term IVABX, injections, blood and platelet infusions
- Demonstrate expertise in chemo administration, peripheral IV, and vascular access
- Assess and monitor for adverse reactions in patients
- Draw blood from ports for laboratory purposes
- Communicate effectively with clinical leads and onsite oncologists
Requirements of the RN - Oncology - Travel- Active BLS certification
- ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification
- Experience with chemo administration and vascular access techniques
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR preferred but not required
