Job Title: Oncology Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift, Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 1 year in oncology nursing License: Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Must-Have: - 1 year of oncology experience - Bio/chemo certification from the Oncology Nursing Society or ability to complete within 2 weeks of hire Description: Provide professional nursing care to patients following established standards, practices, and healthcare techniques. Demonstrate competence in making professional judgments pertaining to patient care. Assist providers in patient care and education. Actively participate as a member of the healthcare team to engage patients, families, and caregivers in the coordination of patient care.
