Schedule / Job TypeContract | 16-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) | Expected 40 hours/week | No Weekends
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an outpatient Adult Hematology/Oncology infusion setting
- Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments to patients ranging in age from 18 to 100
- Maintain a patient care ratio of up to 4 patients per nurse
- Accurately document all patient care activities using the Epic electronic medical records system
- Follow unit-specific protocols and procedures for infusion therapy in a clinic environment
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - license must be on file at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in an Oncology/Infusion specialty
- Outpatient clinic experience in an Infusion/Oncology setting is required
- Chemo and biotherapy certification required
- Training and demonstrated experience administering chemotherapy in a clinic setting
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required
- Reliable personal transportation is strongly recommended - public transportation is not accessible in this area; vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in an Adult Hematology/Oncology unit
- Familiarity with infusion therapy protocols and procedures in an outpatient clinic environment
- Prior travel nursing experience
