Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Oncology – New Jersey

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required (Saturday/Sunday). Patient ratio of 1:4-5. Orientation includes 24 hours plus non-billable module completion.
Highlights:
- Intermediate care oncology unit with telemetry monitoring capabilities
- Diverse patient population including bone marrow transplant, clinical trials, surgical oncology, and all liquid/solid tumor oncology diagnoses
- EPIC charting system used facility-wide
- Floating required within scope of practice to oncology, medical/surgical, telemetry, stepdown, and IMC units
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, rapid response teams, respiratory services, and social services
- Exposure to advanced oncology procedures including chemotherapy administration, port management, and specialized oncology protocols
Requirements:
- Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, Chemotherapy (ONS/ONCC), and NIHSS
- EPIC charting experience required
- Telemetry skills required for IMC level of care
- Experience with 1:4 patient ratios preferred
- Previous charge experience and community hospital experience preferred
- OCN and additional ONS/ONCC certifications preferred
- Bone marrow transplant and stem cell therapy experience preferred
