Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN), Medical Surgical Oncology Floor, Cleveland, Ohio. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to patients with complex medical oncology needs, including chemotherapy administration, respiratory care, and end-of-life care. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Cleveland, Ohio
- Schedule: Rotating 12-hour DAY/NIGHT shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification; at least 0 years of relevant experience; ability to interpret cardiac arrhythmias; experience with chemotherapy administration and monitoring side effects; high level of respiratory care including tracheostomies, chest tubes, airvo, CPAP/BiPAP; and experience with end-of-life care or hospice
- Preferred Qualifications: Excellent communication skills; STEP DOWN nursing experience highly preferred; ability to quickly identify rapidly changing patient conditions and multitask critical situations
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: This position requires excellent communication skills, with priority placed on complex medical oncology patient care, respiratory management, and end-of-life care.
